Hi All, I'm currently recruiting for a senior accountant at a Fire and Rescue service in the North West region. The candidate HAS to have previous experience within a fire and rescue service and be ACCA qualified.
Responsibilities:
Support the Finance Manager to develop, review and monitor the authority's Medium Term Finance Plan and annual Revenue and Capital budgets. Support budget holders in preparing their budget plans and in year revenue and capital budget monitoring. Supporting and challenging budget holders and Senior Management Teams across the authority, including providing a responsive and flexible service that is business focused and supports the authorities priorities. Liaising with both Internal and External Audit officers as required.
