Based: Stafford I am working with a fantastic, UK market-leading business looking to hire a new Financial Controller. With ambitious growth plans over the next few years, they are looking to become the UK leader in their niche industry already owning a large market share. This role will be instrumental in the business, sitting on the SLT working with the directors to drive financial strategies to aid with ambitious company growth objectives. You will get the chance to have a strong voice, lead as number 1 in finance within the business and oversee other areas requiring a commercial mindset. Role:
Implementing financial strategies to achieve revenue & EBITDA growth objectives Providing strategic financial guidance and insights to support decision-making process Overseeing finance department including a small team & recruitment/training as they grow Overseeing and developing all financial processes, ensuring optimised visibility of company performance Mitigating financial and commercial risks by implementing controls and procedures Projects including enhancing reporting suite & new system implementation in 2025 Producing full management accounts, preparing financial statements Overseeing balance sheet, cash flow, financial reporting Assisting in future M&A Activity including due diligence to evaluate potential opportunities Overseeing Systems/IT to drive efficiency and streamline processes Experience:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified OR QBE with strong experience SME experience essential, ideally as number 1 or number 2 ready to step up Commercial acumen, confident in your abilities and keen to continue to learn/develop Strong leader and people manager Experience driving EBITDA growth and value creation highly desirable M&A experience highly beneficial Please send your CV for immediate consideration!
