The role:
Manage nursing resources efficiently, participating in budget planning and control. Identify areas for quality improvement and implement necessary changes. Provide leadership to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring appropriate skill mix and staffing levels. Facilitate ongoing training and development for the nursing team to enhance their skills and knowledge. Monitor and assess the quality of care delivered, conducting regular audits to identify areas for improvement. Implement and oversee measures to maintain compliance with relevant regulatory standards and policies. Conduct patient assessments and contribute to the development of individualized care plans. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and person-centered care for residents. Foster effective communication within the nursing team and with other healthcare professionals. Collaborate with the care home management team to ensure seamless coordination of care services.

NMC Registered Experience working in a care home environment.
