Working on a diverse range of projects, from urban developments to large-scale infrastructure, ensuring that solutions are not only meet regulatory requirements but also protect our communities from flood risks. As a Principal Drainage and Flood Risk Engineer, you will: - Lead and manage drainage and flood risk assessments for a variety of projects. - Provide expert advice on sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and flood risk mitigation strategies. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions. - Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and innovation. - Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success. You will have the following: - A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. - Extensive experience in drainage design and flood risk management. - Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and industry best practices. - Excellent communication and project management skills. - A passion for sustainable engineering solutions.
