Assistant Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

As part of our dedicated Management Accounts team, you will handle a wide variety of tasks, including: Conducting

bank reconciliations

across multiple companies and currencies. Preparing and posting journals . Completing

balance sheet reconciliations

and resolving queries around control accounts. Setting up payments

in banking systems and monitoring approval workflows. Performing

cost analysis

on P&L codes and investigating monthly variances. Reviewing cost analysis against budget , understanding variances, and contributing to the forecast process. Reviewing finance packs , adding comments, and answering queries. Engaging in

monthly meetings

with group support heads to discuss spending and budget variances. Conducting

control checks

and stepping in to cover finance roles during absences. Assisting the Management Accounts team with

ad hoc projects

as needed. What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an

enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual

who thrives in both a team and independent working environment. Ideal candidates will have: A minimum of 2 years’ management accounts experience . Part or full AAT qualification . Strong

Excel skills

(V-Lookups, pivot tables are essential). Experience working in a multi-company, multi-currency environment is a plus. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude. What We Offer:
