£47,754 pa This is an exciting time to help shape the future of South Tyneside Council as we launch ‘Our Council’ change programme geared towards internal modernisation. We have developed a new 20-year vision and medium-term Council Strategy underpinned by a refreshed set of values focusing on key areas for genuine improvement to complex challenges. South Tyneside Council is an organisation where you can really make a difference. We are looking for a suitably experienced accountant to support the new corporate financial management model implemented throughout the organisation. You will assist the Strategic Finance Team in managing the financial affairs of the Council. You will provide financial support and advice to budget holders to assist the Council in fulfilling statutory financial obligations while meeting corporate objectives as outlined in relevant strategic plans.
