At IP&G we are a safety and welfare company which supports a construction company in delivering high-quality construction projects. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated driving operative. This is a new position and you will be a vital part of each project.
Role Overview:
Please note that the role involves heavy lifting, as tasks entail delivering and installing safety and welfare items to different properties. As a result, the role is physically demanding and requires a strong level of fitness. Candidates should be prepared for manual labour and the physical challenges associated with this position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the company van.
Delivering and collecting materials on time in various postcode regions.
Delivering and installing welfare facilities such as Heras fencing and storage containers.
Collection of waste via waste disposal bags.
Perform general yard maintenance tasks such as cleaning, organising and maintaining the appearance of the yard.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness at all times.
To comply with Health & Safety requirements on the road, and at customers' premises.
To load and secure all equipment onto your vehicle accordingly.
Good level of physical fitness to manage delivery tasks efficiently.
Perform regular maintenance checks on vans and inform management of any issues.
Qualifications:
Full UK driving license.
5 years experience in a similar role.
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Be able to pass a DBS check if successful in the interview.
