We have an exciting opportunity for a copy and content writer to join our team at our established company selling consumer goods to the wholesale and retail market, within multiple product categories. The copywriter role is an interesting and varied one involving: Creating Amazon A+ Content for new and existing product listings. Managing the product copy across our own website and the websites of our ecommerce retail customers, ensuring the latest and best available copy is present across all - scaping and updating sites where needed. Completing product information documents which are used to create packaging and new web listings. Entering product copy onto customer new line forms. Adding new product listings to our website, keeping the product pages up to date, while working together with our in-house photographer and graphic designers. Creating Mailchimp content for broadcasting to existing wholesale customers (back in stock info, new product information, newsletters, offer sheets). Creating staff newsletters. Writing editorials and product-related articles for customer brochures. Working with our product technical team to help write high-quality product manuals. Writing social media content that reflects our brand voice. Manage and build relationships with key stakeholders across the wider business: Liaising with suppliers and clients to ensure that product information is correct. Working with Graphic Designers and the Design & Brand team to ensure that the copy fits the needs of the project. Producing instructions and other written materials that are supplied with products. Looking after user logins and dealing with website-related queries. Monitoring and effectively optimising online content with SEO development and usage. Skills Required: Degree educated or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Experience in writing for a range of different personas, writing short and long form copy, technical writing. Experience and clear understanding of technical information. Knowledge of copywriting techniques (short form and long form) and B2B. Excellent grammar and punctuation skills. Time management skills; meeting deadlines and managing conflicting priorities. Influential and persuasive in written communications. Meticulous attention to detail; able to edit and proofread own work and that of others. Condensing complicated ideas into short, simple narratives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Self-driven but with the ability to work effectively within a team and across key departments. Up to date with social media nuances such as hashtags, emojis and acronyms and other internet-related technology. A fast and effective problem solver. Seniority level
