We work Monday to Friday at Hillingdon Hospital. It is a small team of highly motivated staff.
We provide diagnostic Endoscopy procedures on an outpatient day case booking.
Endoscopy experience
preferable but not essential. Training in the specialty will be provided.
To facilitate multidisciplinary patient-centered care and deliver effective quality nursing care for patients undergoing Endoscopic procedures, ensuring that the lists run smoothly and efficiently.
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. On a regular basis, accept the responsibility for the management/leadership of the department in the absence of the senior nurse.
To participate in the supervision and direction of junior nursing staff, healthcare assistants, and learners.
The safety and well-being of our patients and of our staff is paramount and we are making urgent improvements to address this – particularly in infection prevention and control. We are making progress and going forward by working in partnership with local GPs, charities, community services, academic partners, our local authority, neighbouring hospitals, and the wider North West London Integrated care system, ensuring that we listen and work in partnership with our local population.
