Responsibilities and Duties Reporting to the Customer Engineering Manager, you will:

Perform planned preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial biomass steam boilers and associated systems. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve plant breakdowns and technical issues efficiently. Carry out routine servicing and inspections of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment. Manage and oversee specialist sub-contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with site requirements and safety standards. Record and report maintenance tasks using the company's computerised maintenance system (Pirana). Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to on-site. Professional Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:

A minimum of HND or equivalent qualification, or a time-served apprenticeship in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline. At least 2 years' relevant experience in an industrial environment, ideally with an electrical bias. Experience with field service and support, particularly in troubleshooting customer problems. A full UK driving licence. Personal Skills The Service Engineer role would suit someone who:

Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Has strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
