The Role? An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales & Hire Controller to join the team in Liverpool on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be required to act as client focal point for the sale and rental of company equipment including providing support to the Business Development Managers. What will you do? Act as focal point for client enquiries and requests regarding the sale and rental of Company equipment including maximising opportunities where possible. Liaise with Operations Teams of the availability of equipment and assign to client as required. Responsible for creating quotations, quote chasing, issuing, and following up with client including receiving and recording receipt of purchase orders. Responsible for raising work order using the company system and issuing electronically to workshop ensuring client order is delivered on time. Responsible for liaising with operational departments to ensure that client requirements and delivery dates are met. Responsible for solving client issues relating to product or service in a timely manner. Responsible for raising of purchase orders ensuring best price and quality of goods in line with purchasing procedure. Build and maintain new and existing customer relationships by communicating regularly. Assist with any other duties as and when required. Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires. Your Qualifications & Experience? Essential: Previous experience within the industry in a similar role. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programmes. Customer relations experience. Who are you? Good Organisational and administrative skills. Hold excellent time management skills with an eye for detail. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Are a team player, with the ability to work independently. Ability to work independently in challenging circumstances and use initiative to propose and implement changes to work practices.
