Cranford Nursing Home is located in the city of Aberdeen and offers care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis, delivered by highly trained professionals in lovely comfortable surroundings. The outstanding care home is set within a beautifully renovated period property, offering spacious interiors and a homely environment that allows the residents to achieve and enjoy a relaxing lifestyle. Residents have a choice of quiet and communal lounges, as well as many activities to choose from and mature gardens to relax in during the warmer weather. The home is well situated for access to local amenities including public transport. The home is looking for a caring and empathic Care Assistant to take care of the residents on a daily basis to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will play an essential part in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in their care. You will be responsible for promoting as much independence for our residents as possible and treating all residents with understanding and dignity. To apply for this role you must have the following: Team player with care and compassion in all that you do SVQ Level 2 in Care (desirable but not necessary) Minimum 6 months experience of nursing home care in the UK.
