TIG Welder (Aluminium and Stainless Steel)

Our client is a specialist sub-contract facility providing precision components and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies into the semi-conductor and mass spectrometer industries. They are currently seeking a TIG Welder specifically specializing in aluminium, and some stainless steel. Ideally, the TIG Welder will have experience and knowledge of either welding vacuum or low-level pressure systems, as some testing is involved with the position - although full training in testing will be offered.
Responsibilities:
The TIG Welder will need the ability to read customer drawings and interpret customer requirements.
Experience of Miller Dynasty equipment would be an advantage but not essential, as there is onsite training allowing further development.
Some use of measuring equipment required and the ability to adjust weld settings to suit conditions required.
Reporting to the Production Engineer, the main duty will be pre-cleaning, setting up, TIG welding, and vacuum testing.
The TIG Welder should have the ability to identify improvements in the process.
Good interpersonal skills required.
