The London Borough of Hackney, and our partners are at the forefront of joint working for children and young people. Together with our colleagues at Northeast London Integrated Care Board, we are creating a new Integrated Children’s Commissioning & Health Service which sits across the Children, Education and Health Directorate. We are seeking a Service Co-ordinator to work within our newly created Integrated Commissioning Service. You will be primarily responsible for supporting the Head of Commissioning and their senior team of Strategic Commissioning Managers, each with their individual portfolio areas of (i) Education, SEND and Early Years; (ii) Children’s Social Care, Youth and Early Help; and (iii) Health and Public Health. Commissioning is a collective activity and you will be expected to support conversations and decision making across service areas and commissioners, liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and providing administration support to the wider team. Your experience gained within an administration role along with your calm and customer focussed approach is what we are looking for. IT literate, you will have practical knowledge of working within Education, Health or Social Care and have the ability to work on your own initiative. We are seeking team players who are skilled and passionate people to invest energy and enthusiasm into the startup and delivery of our new commissioning service. We operate a fair and open anonymous selection process. Therefore, we do not accept supporting statements or CV’s. To proceed with your application, you will need to create an account and submit your application. As part of the application process, you will need to complete a number of competency based questions. These questions allow you to demonstrate your suitability for the role and provide examples of your skills, knowledge and experience outlined in the job description.
