Ethics and Investigations Director

who will be responsible for overseeing the ethics and whistle-blowing program across the Tetra Laval Group. Working closely with the Industry Group governance teams and business leaders to establish an effective ethics framework based on high ethical standards, values, and a speak-up culture. Oversee the ethical Code of Conduct and Whistleblowing allegations and associated investigations. Seen as a thought leader and strategic partner with a strong background in ethics, compliance, and investigative processes. The Ethics and Investigations Director will report to the Head of Audit. This is a permanent position that will be based in Windsor, UK, or Lausanne, Switzerland. What you will do

Develop a comprehensive ethics programme and governance framework, including ownership for the Tetra Laval Group Code of Conduct and Whistle-blowing policy Collaborate with the Industry Group Governance teams to facilitate the effective implementation of the group framework and promote an ethical culture, including training and awareness Thought leader and strategic partner to the Industry Group governance teams and business leaders focusing on innovation and best practice ethics, whistle-blowing, and fraud prevention programmes Member of the Internal Audit leadership team, providing input to the development and implementation of the Audit Strategy and improvement programme Lead and manage complex investigations into allegations of misconduct, including fraud, corruption, and other unethical behaviors For less complex investigations (conducted by the business) ensure investigations are conducted thoroughly, impartially, and in a timely manner Prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective actions Recruit and lead a small team of investigators; optimizing capability from internal and external (external co-partner) resources to deliver complex forensic investigations Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies Manage the group whistle-blowing channel including contractual arrangements and performance of the third-party service provider Report findings of investigations to senior management and, when necessary, to external authorities Maintain confidential records of all investigations and compliance activities Establish an effective reporting framework across the group, including development of key performance indicators and benchmarking Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes Recommend and implement improvements to the ethics and compliance programs Foster a culture of continuous learning and ethical behavior across the group We believe you have

University degree with relevant professional education and certification Minimum of 10 years of experience in ethics, compliance, or investigations in an international corporate environment Experience in a similar role within a large organisation Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills Exceptional communication and strong listening skills and natural leadership Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively High level of integrity and ethical judgment Flexible in all nature especially towards travel abroad Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
