James Fisher Medical Centre Bournemouth BH9 3LQ We’re seeking an experienced GP to come and join our fantastic, multidisciplinary team at James Fisher Medical Centre in Bournemouth. We’re offering
6 sessions
preferably working on
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday . We’ll also consider applications from excellent doctors wishing to work up to 6 sessions. James Fisher Medical Centre is a well-established and successful GP practice with 12,500 patients and forms part of the Bournemouth Central PCN. Our team includes 5 partners, 4 salaried GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, and nursing, administrative, & reception teams, as well as network staff. We have a relatively young population for Bournemouth with lots of families and only a small number of care homes. All GPs work a proportionate share of duty and general GP sessions and we’re always looking for ways to improve. We use Systmone and all GP appointment requests are triaged by the duty team, to ensure patients are seen by the most appropriate team member. We have purpose built large premises in a beautiful area of the south coast with close by riverside walks that can be accessed a short walk from the surgery during lunch times. We actively support training and development, receiving medical students and GP registrars; many of whom have come back to work at the surgery. We will support special interests and there may be the opportunity to take on additional sessions within the network if a candidate was interested in developing more diversity within their working week.
