Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor within the clean/waste water and environmental sectors, is in need of an experienced Site Manager or Site Agent for an immediate start.
Project location will be Widnes, working on their United Utilities Contract.
Job Duties:
Assist the Project Manager to fulfill client requirements in a multi-site capacity from pre-construction to post-construction in line with all relevant policies, procedures, and best working practices. Manage your own time to balance site and administrative duties, ensuring the smooth running of jobs and compliance. Communicate effectively with management, clients, and the wider team by email, phone, and face-to-face. Provide guidance to site teams on systems, processes, best practice, and so on to ensure high levels of site competency. Conduct site audits, identifying and escalating issues as necessary, and close out issues and actions in a proactive manner. Review and sign on to site files, including but not limited to the project programme, RAMS, CPPs, and quality documentation. Act as temporary works supervisor as and when required. Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, safety bulletins, etc., ensuring all personnel receive necessary and relevant information consistently throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure site staff follow health, safety, and quality policies and processes. Check adherence and rectify issues immediately, while ensuring all records are maintained. Assist the Project Manager to collate, check, and approve time sheet and measurement submissions to ensure accurate and timely submission. Liaise with project management and commercial team members to assist in the formulation of CEs and measures as required. Experience Required:
