Ark Care Services Ltd requires a Care Assistant for a residential/dementia home located at Bamber Bridge, Preston.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Candidates must be willing to take the Level 1 Care Certificate and other associated training.
The successful applicant will be flexible, as reasonable shift coverage is required from care staff for annual leave and sickness cover.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting residents with washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and meals.
Promoting residents’ independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering outstanding standards of care.
Engaging in recreational and social activities with residents, both individually and as a group.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.90-£12.20 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
