Join us as a PEP/HR (Politically Exposed Person/High Risk) Analyst at Barclays, where you will support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

To be successful as a PEP/HR Analyst, you should have experience with: To have, or the ability to develop, a strong understanding of Financial Crime regulations and policies (Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption) and the ability to make recommendations for a customer case based on available evidence.

Investigation/review and decision making experience with the ability to analyse complex data and have high attention to detail and high quality.

Experience working in a regulated function such as Financial Crime, Client Assets Sourcebook, Anti-Money Laundering, Complaints, Pensions etc.

Report writing and make decisions around case prioritisation and daily workload.

Some other highly valued skills may include: Good knowledge of operational risk requirements and standards applicable to the relevant processes and procedures.

Be able to work on multiple work types concurrently and have the ability to switch focus based on priority and business needs.

Strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence others positively.

Experience of involvement in change initiatives and projects, owning tasks/objectives through to completion.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role is based in Glasgow.

Purpose of the role To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Accountabilities Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.

Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.

Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.

Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.

Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.

Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.

Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
