An exciting opportunity has arisen at Nuvo Accountancy for an experienced Senior Client Manager to join us on a full-time permanent basis. As we continue to expand, we have created a new role within Practice Management to support and assist our busy Finance Team. Role Overview: The Senior Client Manager plays a pivotal role within the portfolio team, acting as a bridge between Client Managers and the Associate Partner. This position involves supporting the Client Managers, overseeing the workflow of client services, helping to manage client relationships, and ensuring the smooth service experience our clients expect. The Senior Client Manager will also be actively involved in preparing larger accounts up to the review stage and conducting first-line reviews of management accounts and VAT returns prepared by Client Managers. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent technical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for supporting and developing team members. Key Responsibilities: Team Management, Support & Development Assist in the daily management of the client services team, ensuring a balanced workload and efficient workflow. Act as the first point of contact for technical support and internal queries from Client Managers, providing feedback to support their development. Assist in the training and development of Client Managers and other junior staff members, providing mentorship and support. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Client Relationship Management Manage relationships with key clients, handling escalated queries and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Support the Associate Partner in maintaining and growing client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services and advisory work. Workflow & Deadline Management Oversee the scheduling and management of client work to ensure timely completion and adherence to statutory deadlines. Monitor and enforce compliance with company procedures and client-specific requirements. Account Preparation & Review Prepare management accounts for larger clients up to the review stage, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Review VAT returns and other compliance work prepared by Client Managers, providing feedback and ensuring quality standards are met. Support the Associate Partner in reviewing annual accounts and identifying areas for improvement or advisory opportunities. Skills & Attributes: Qualifications:

ACA/ACCA qualified preferable. Experience: Some experience in a client management or similar role within an accountancy practice. Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax, and VAT compliance as well as proficiency in cloud accounting software. Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, manage workflow, and meet deadlines. Communication Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
