Join our team as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist in the sub-specialism of Haemophilia, collaborating with Advanced Practice and Consultant colleagues. The haemophilia physiotherapists are responsible for providing specialist clinical assessment and treatment of adult and paediatric patients with haemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders registered at the Kent Haemophilia Centre, recognized by the Department of Health as a Comprehensive Care Centre. All patients with haemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders have access to physiotherapy, including a walk-in triage service for musculoskeletal (MSK) care and regular Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) clinic reviews. The physiotherapists contribute to and lead on research projects and national research trials in the field, offering extended scope skills including performing point-of-care ultrasound. Main duties of the job
Deliver a high-quality, patient-centered, and sustainable Musculoskeletal Service for Children and Adults with Haemophilia of East Kent. Facilitate the development and expansion of Musculoskeletal Therapy services within EKHUFT. Act as a resource to provide expert professional opinion to Therapy staff, Medical staff, and other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. Be a senior leader and part of the Haemophilia MDT team. Provide an advanced level of practice in assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral through Outpatient Musculoskeletal/Orthopaedic Clinics. Be a professional leader and role model for excellence in Paediatric Musculoskeletal care across East Kent. Person specification
Skills
Evidence of substantial clinical experience in Paediatric/adult/haem MSK. Advanced practice physiotherapy experience. Prescriber/injection therapy/diagnostic ultrasound. Experience

MSc. Diploma or Degree. Additional Information
