Mechanical Engineer , you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems within the plant, working closely with both the Mechanical and Electrical Teams. You’ll be involved in troubleshooting breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance, and supporting ongoing engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills and potentially take on additional leadership responsibilities in the future. Essential Qualifications & Skills

NVQ Level 3

(or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering / BTEC Experience in an industrial maintenance environment (e.g., mining, quarries, foundries, steel manufacturing, cement production, power generation, oil & gas, recycling, automotive, petrochemical processing, heavy equipment) Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, gearboxes, and conveyor systems is an advantage Ability to work well as part of a team and independently Salary & Benefits

Basic salary : £39,300 per annum Shift premiums : 8.3% for days, 20% for nights, bringing total earnings to around

£41,500

annually. Overtime : Available Paid handovers : A couple of hours per week – paid overtime Generous benefits package
