Imager Electronics Manager | Guildford | Hybrid | Competitive salary + strong package Are you an Electronics Engineering Manager? Are you interested in working for an industry leading Space & Satellite Company? Do you want to work on cutting edge Space and Satellite projects and technologies? Then this might be the role for you! Our client is looking for an experienced Electronics Engineering Manager to join their existing highly skilled team to support the delivery of Imaging hardware for the companies Imaging Spacecraft for LEO and GEO missions. Key responsibilities: The overall output of the team. Ensuring financial, resources, quality and technical requirements are met. Ensure all effective plans are in place to deliver all work and packages within budget and scheduling constraints. Work with the Project Engineering team to ensure project needs are met. Oversee adherence of team level policies and procedures to ensure coherent team output. Identify and mitigate any project risks and communicate them to appropriate teams. Utilise the skills matrix within the team ensuring they are best utilised for optimum team output in accordance to project goals and deadlines. Ensure plans are in place to retain and develop team members for existing and future projects. Work with a multidisciplinary team including PMs, TLs and Group Leaders to resolve resource conflicts on projects. Develop, train and mentor team members. Ensure the forward resource load is maintained and staffing levels are in line with the needs of current and future projects. Experience, Knowledge & Skills Extensive mixed signal, analogue and digital hardware experience. Strong experience with planning and meeting budgets/schedule. Strong results-oriented leadership skills. Imaging experience is highly desirable. A degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, able to influence, persuade and negotiate with people at all levels. Both written and oral communications; ability to interface with customers and technical representatives. High degree of organisation, planning, self-motivation and initiative. Able to work autonomously whilst leading a team of multiskilled engineering professionals, whilst being flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. Good presentation skills and customer facing skills. Pro-active decision maker with creative problem-solving skills. Ability to work simultaneously on a variety of projects with differing timescales.
