Linux Engineer (DV Clearance)

Position Description Are you passionate about Linux and VMware? Do you enjoy designing and implementing innovative solutions that meet the needs of the end users? If so, you might be the Linux engineer we are looking for. You will have the opportunity to lead the Linux components of a platform that will provide Linux VDI's and a management solution for Linux systems. You will work on site at Corsham, as part of a project team that is delivering a VMware environment and platform for a client. You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders and ensure that your work complies with security and quality standards. You will also document and communicate your solution to the project team and the client.

Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This role will be based in the Gloucester office 5 days a week.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Support project team with Linux engineering activities. Design and implement the Linux components of the platform. Ensure compliance with security and quality standards. Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders. Document and communicate the Linux solution.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Linux engineering experience. Solution implementation experience. Solution design experience. Ansible experience. VMware experience. Networking experience.
