Pensions Solicitor (2 + PQE)
to join their established Employment department based in Manchester. This newly created role is ideal for a solicitor looking to expand their expertise in pensions law within a supportive and collaborative team. You’ll work alongside a highly experienced Partner who specializes in pensions law, gaining valuable mentorship and exposure to a wide range of complex and interesting pension matters. You’ll be involved in diverse client work, including advising private individuals, employers, pension scheme trustees, and collaborating with other departments on transactional and advisory matters. Key Responsibilities Drafting, interpreting, and advising on pension scheme documentation. Attending client meetings and supporting the pensions Partner with note-taking and task management. Drafting deeds and other essential legal documents. Staying up-to-date with legislative changes and guidance from the Pensions Regulator. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and third-party referrers. Translating complex pensions law into accessible advice for clients. Contributing to business development initiatives to support the department's growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor seeking a balance between client-facing work, technical excellence, and career development. Hybrid working arrangements are available. Requirements 2 + years’ PQE
with a strong interest in pensions law. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain client relationships. Experience working with third-party referrers is a plus but not essential.
