Rix Gas Services are recruiting. Following a period of sustained growth and demand for our services, we are seeking an additional Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join the business. Rix Gas Services are a local business that provide all-encompassing boiler service, repair and installation solutions throughout the East Riding of Yorkshire as well as York and surrounding areas. Our engineers are the face of the business and as such, expert customer service skills are required. We invest heavily into our team of engineers to ensure that we are at the forefront of innovation and that each member of staff is equipped with the skills, knowledge and experience to provide a seamless quality of service. To be considered for the role, the applicant must possess:

Excellent time keeping skills. A positive approach to work and the ability to think laterally to solve problems. At least 5 years of plumbing, heating and gas experience. The ability to work on their own and within a small team. The ability to install boilers to a high standard and/or service and repair boilers competently in line with manufacturers specifications. A good level of knowledge regarding wiring, including S and Y plans would be desirable but not essential. Desirable Skills/Experience:

Unvented qualification Experience working with oil boilers or OFTEC qualification We are providing a lucrative package which includes:

A salary of between £35,000 - £38,000 DOE (basic 40-hour week) The opportunity for overtime, year-round.
