We are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to work for a specialist energy consultancy.
Main Duties :
Promote a positive H&S culture.
Review, monitor, audit, and advise on multiple projects.
Assist in audit programmes for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 compliance.
Respond to H&S incidents and conduct investigations.
Advise on risk minimization in the workplace.
Oversee H&S management of projects, ensuring suitable Construction Phase Plans and RAMS.
Periodically review and update internal H&S procedures.
Collaborate with Principal Designers and Contractors for pre-construction H&S information.
Provide clear H&S advice, guidance, and coaching to project teams.
Person Specification :
Degree level/NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational H&S (or equivalent).
Certified member of IOSH/APS with up-to-date CPD.
Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and CDM 2015 regulations.
Managers CSCS Black Card.
Experience with Streetworks, Temporary Works, Excavations, Asbestos, Confined Spaces, and Lifting Operations.
Experience advising clients during construction.
The role is full-time and permanent, with the salary reflecting the candidate's experience level.
