Summary: We are representing a Property Management & Investment firm based in Central London, with a focus on Pan-European value-add investments across both Residential and Commercial Real Estate. Opening their London office in 2020, they have since grown significantly and are now looking to grow their Property Accounting team. The role will report into the Senior Property Management Accountant and is responsible for their portfolio of residential and commercial properties. The portfolio is mixed-use, so experience within both residential and commercial sectors would be highly advantageous; however, it is predominantly residential, so applicants with a residential background will be considered. Key Responsibilities Run the dedicated portfolio up to net operating income (NOI) level. Responsible for monthly analysis of budget vs actual and investigate variances. Arrange monthly meetings with the Property Managers and other stakeholders to discuss NOI variances. Review and support the annual budget process with Property Managers. Review Service Charge accounts provided from external Managing Agents to ensure accuracy and completeness of budgets, on account charges and year-end reconciliation. Run Service Charge process for in-house managed properties including budgeting, raising charges, reviewing expenditure and income for year-end reconciliation. Build relationships with Operations and finance team, in order to carry out the tasks efficiently. Prepare and review client statements for an external client on a monthly basis. Manage the deposit transfer and reconcile all payment requests with TDS & DPS. Reconciliation of deposits on a monthly basis. Run the charges for the selective portfolio and ensure move in and move out is updated correctly on Yardi. Review the charges & run reasonableness income test on a weekly basis. Raise monthly rent charge for designated portfolio. Ensure all unidentified items are posted correctly. Analyse the discount with the rental income. Reconciliation of the bank on Yardi on a weekly basis. Review aged debtors' balances with Credit Control team. Support other team members in their absence. Run ad-hoc reports as requested by Senior PMA and Senior Controller.
