Data Architect Location: London, UK Company: Shivom Consultancy Ltd Responsibilities: Data Strategy: Develop and implement the overall data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. Architecture Design: Design and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient database systems and data solutions. Data Integration: Oversee data integration and ETL processes, ensuring seamless data flow across systems. Data Modeling: Create and manage data models, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve data architecture. Security: Implement and enforce data security standards and best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to meet data requirements. Documentation: Document data architecture, policies, and procedures for transparency and maintenance. Performance Monitoring: Monitor data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, and address any issues. Compliance: Ensure data architecture complies with relevant regulations and standards. Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, database design, or a related role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, MongoDB), data modeling tools, and data integration tools. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to design complex data systems. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data issues. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading projects and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
