The role is within the Procurement & Supply chain sector. Job Description The Production planner will be responsible for: Plan, schedule, and manage production activities to meet business goals. Maintain a strong link between sales, procurement and production departments. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of raw materials. Monitor production progress and address any issues that arise. Implement lean production methodologies to optimise efficiency. Oversee inventory and ensure sufficient stock levels at all times. Report on production status to senior management. Adhere to health and safety regulations within the production environment. The Successful Applicant A successful Production Planner should have: A solid understanding of procurement and supply chain management. A proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams. A knack for problem-solving and implementing productive solutions. A good grasp of lean production methodologies. Able to lead the daily and weekly S&OP meeting. What's on Offer The successful Production planner will receive: A competitive salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum.
