Number 2 Mechanic to join our Formula 2 team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in F2 or F3, with a strong understanding of high-performance motorsport environments. As a Number 2 Mechanic, you will play a key role in preparing and maintaining our race cars to the highest standards, supporting pit stop operations, and ensuring the team’s success on and off the track. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Number 1 Mechanic in the preparation, maintenance, and repair of the Formula 2 car. • Conduct assembly and disassembly of car components, including suspension, drivetrain, and aerodynamic parts, ensuring all work meets the required specifications. • Perform pre-event, event, and post-event checks to ensure the car is safe, reliable, and competitive. • Actively participate in pit stop operations, practicing and executing under pressure during race weekends. • Support the build and pack-down of the car and equipment during events. • Work closely with engineers and other team members to diagnose and resolve technical issues. • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including component mileage and part changes. • Ensure a clean, safe, and organised working environment both in the workshop and at the circuit.

Requirements: • Proven experience as a mechanic in F2, F3, or a comparable high-performance motorsport category. • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of modern race car systems. • Previous experience with pit stop operations in a competitive motorsport environment. • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced situations. • Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends and long hours during race events. • A proactive team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. • Full UK driving license. Additional Information: • The role is based full-time in Farnham, UK, with regular travel to race events. • This is a hands-on, physical role that requires a high level of fitness and endurance.
