We are currently seeking a

Groundworker with Slinger/Signaller Ticket

to join our team for a

substation installation project

in Wisbech. This role will involve various groundworks tasks, including duct installation. You will be working on an essential infrastructure project requiring skilled professionals with the necessary certifications and experience. Key Responsibilities:

Groundworks:

Undertake general groundworking duties including excavation, backfilling, and site preparation. Duct Installation:

Assist with the installation of ducts as part of the substation build. Slinger/Signaller Duties:

Safely guide the movement of loads using slinging techniques, ensuring the lifting and handling of materials complies with safety regulations. Site Safety:

Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols. Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other site operatives and project managers to ensure work is carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. Site Maintenance:

Ensure the site remains clean, tidy, and hazard-free during the project. Required Qualifications & Skills:

CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller Ticket:

Must hold a valid Slinger/Signaller qualification (CPCS or NPORS). Groundworking Experience:

Previous experience working as a Groundworker, especially within the construction or infrastructure sectors. Health & Safety Awareness:

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices on construction sites. Team Player:

Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly. Physical Fitness:

The role requires physical work, including lifting and handling materials. Additional Information:
