Our client, a large manufacturing business based in the Leeds area, has an immediate requirement to recruit a well-versed Maintenance Electrician.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to fast-paced production equipment.
Ideal candidates will be apprentice trained maintenance electricians and will be able to demonstrate a strong background within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
PLC/HMI Troubleshooting:
Analyse and diagnose electrical and automation system issues using Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs. Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve faults efficiently. 3-Phase AC/DC Motors:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot 3-phase AC and DC motors and associated control systems. Perform motor installations and ensure proper wiring and connections. This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work a rotating 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm shift pattern (6am - 1pm / 1pm - 8pm on a Friday). In return, you can expect a salary of £44k - £50k dependent on previous experience.
