Base pay range Change Financial Services are supporting a leading player within the sector to recruit a Finance Business Partner to their team in Edinburgh. The role is looking for individuals that can give context and meaning to business performance and drivers, engaging with heads of department and non-finance professionals to add real value to the role.
Experience partnering and confidence engaging with stakeholders is key, where you will blend a commercial awareness of internal and external factors which could impact on your portfolio and business areas performance, bringing financial analysis to life as you do this.
Core duties of the role will include:
Lead on insight and analysis of key revenue drivers for your product and business area.
Lead on monthly forecast review and analysis of variance and wider factors.
Budget setting, review and monitoring.
Presentation of monthly insight packs to senior stakeholders within the business, leading on Q&A.
Modelling of key themes and scenario planning as you partner the business.
Working closely with the business to assess new business cases.
Critical insight to spend versus cost analysis against a range of products.
Engagement with a wide range of product SMEs across the business.
Applicants will be able to show a level of commercial awareness and partnering experience from either a similar role in Financial Services or a business that has multiple revenue streams which form part of monthly reporting. Experience reviewing income as well as costs is of benefit as well as with tools to enhance reporting outputs, where you are able to show that edge and confidence with numbers when presenting and partnering non-finance professionals.
In return, the role offers a high level of stakeholder interaction and progression within the business, as well as seeing tangible outputs across the business area that you partner.
