We are a leading UK manufacturer of pastry and dough products based in a brand-new state-of-the-art food manufacturing plant in Corby. We supply a wide range of pastry, pizza dough, cookies, and brownies to all major retailers in the UK.
We are seeking 2 Engineering Team Leaders to work Monday to Friday within our busy factory and workshop, each overseeing 2 teams of 2 engineers currently working on Panama Shift: 1 on Night Shift (10pm to 6am) and another on Day Shift (8:30am to 6:30pm).
Your role will be responsible for maintaining and improving facility uptime and asset reliability across the site. This involves leading a team of engineers and utilizing tools such as Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and condition monitoring. The role requires flexibility and hands-on leadership to support and develop a high-performing engineering team.
You will have:
Proven experience in an engineering leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Strong knowledge of maintenance tools, including PPM, RCA, and condition monitoring.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to motivate and develop a team, with strong communication and leadership skills.
A flexible approach to work, with the willingness to adapt to changing production needs.
