Join Aprolis UK, a leading provider of material handling solutions and play a key role in shaping our finance team. In this key role you will be responsible for month end / year end closing processes with complete backup and robust processes that are fit for purpose. The Financial Controller will deliver management and financial reporting to a wide audience; providing critical business information and ensuring that all the systems are utilised effectively. You will need to be able to lead the internal teams to hit high standards in all work completed and ensure that the structure is enabling for business growth. What You'll Do As Our Financial Controller? Deliver full UK financial accounting for all UK business to tight deadlines. Manage the workload across the team, working collaboratively with peers and direct reports. Deliver management reporting to a wide range of users to enable timely management of the business. Supervise finance and non-finance teams to continuously improve the processes. Manage audit deliverables across all UK businesses with additional support for areas of the business with limited audit experience. Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for P&L, Balance sheet and cashflows for each entity. Run projects to simplify the processes within the business and improve finance efficiencies. Qualified ACCA with proven track record of implementing robust audit and month end processes. Relevant experience to be able to manage complex data sets and simplify. Proven ability to deliver automation of financial processes, continuously improving them and creating time to reinvest into the business. Able to work unsupervised; at pace and still move the flow of the business forward. Ability to put projects into action and see results quickly. Must be a natural problem solver. Ability to work across the business including training and supporting more junior members of the team. Must have a positive nature and work towards the long term goals of the business.
