Key Responsibilities: Install, modify, and commission new plant equipment to high standards. Diagnose and repair faults on plant control systems efficiently to minimise production loss. Perform instrumentation, control, and automation maintenance on production equipment for asphalt and concrete. Conduct thorough risk assessments and create method statements to ensure safe installation or maintenance activities. Provide technical advice and support, including training for trainees. Quickly and effectively repair plant failures, prioritising downtime reduction. About You: Technical Skills:

You have the ability to read and fault-find from schematic drawings, with hands-on experience in inverter drives, relay logic, and PLCs. Instrumentation Expertise:

Experience in calibration and maintenance of front-line instrumentation is a strong advantage. Operational Understanding:

Practical knowledge of plant and control systems is highly desirable. Qualifications:

Ideally, you hold an HNC or City and Guilds NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical discipline. Driving Licence:

A valid UK driving licence is essential as you will cover multiple sites. Physical Fitness:

You are comfortable working at height and willing to complete IPAF training. Flexibility to work out of hours when necessary is a must.
