Based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, we are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. This role will involve undertaking mechanical maintenance on a variety of Heavy Forge Equipment. Role Responsibilities Maintaining and carrying out Breakdown work on large Forging presses and associated equipment. Carry out Planned and Preventative Maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment. Attend to Breakdowns as and when they occur. Adhere to health & safety guidelines and working to safe systems of work at all times. About You The following relevant skills, knowledge and experience are required: Engineering Qualification. Engineering knowledge rooted in strong maintenance principles and failure prevention. Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics. In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace and improvements made in support of H&S. Ability to influence technical decisions, based on and supported by data. Excellent Fault-Finding Skills. Ability to Work in confined spaces. Ability to Work at height.
