The position is accountable to the Operations Manager and is responsible for developing and managing schedules to incorporate risk, change, resource requirements and cost in accordance with Amentum requirements and Standards. The cost element of this role will be responsible for providing cost management support to the Framework teams and will monitor, control and forecast costs during the Project lifecycle. This role has no direct reports. The role can be based at any of our UK Amentum Offices and may require occasional business travel to UK sites/stations. Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible. Understanding of the inter-relationship between time, cost and commercial aspects of the project life cycle. Experience in the latest version of Primavera. The ability to reconcile cost information as it applies to the programmes of work. Proficient in the use of estimating, scheduling, programming and risk tools. Proficient in the use of Earned Value Analysis. Ability to communicate well at all levels of management and produce monthly reports, to an agreed reporting cycle, providing intelligent information. Capture project budgetary costs and resources in the plan to determine time phasing of expenditure and the total project budget. Able to establish robust Work Breakdown and Project Control Structures in terms of project scope, in accordance with Investment Delivery processes, templates and Procedures. Experience to challenge as necessary to ensure compatibility and compliance. Knowledge to maintain and control project baselines in line with company procedures and guidance. Monitor, control and analyse the project programme and cost information using Earned Value methodologies. Experience to integrate 3rd party schedules and data into the overall project plan.
