Our client, an AV and IT specialist, is looking for an AV Project Engineer to join their growing team. The role is to support the full life cycle of their projects, from pre-sales, working closely with the sales function to develop proposals and design systems which meet clients' needs, to post-sales, working with the CAD team and Project Management function. The team is highly collaborative and winning new business at an impressive rate, offering exciting opportunities for new projects moving forward. They are mainly focused on the corporate AV/VC sector and predominantly in the London area. Role Responsibilities

Working alongside a sales function to gather customer requirements and realistic use case scenarios to provide effective pre-sales support. Liaising with distributors and manufacturers to select the products best fit for purpose, acquiring the required knowledge of the function, limitations, and capabilities of their technologies. Owning responsibility for designing systems that meet clients' requirements, using the appropriate technologies and products. Coordinating closely with the CAD function to produce effective technical drawings, holding responsibility for the generation of effective schematics and rack layouts. Partnering with the Project Management function to ensure project designs and intentions are being met and delivered throughout the life of the project. Keeping up to date with incoming technology advances and trends within AV to offer effective consultations in new projects. Experience Required:

5+ years' experience within the corporate AV, with a background in designing systems. Strong communication and presentation skills to converse with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including in client-facing scenarios. Beneficial Experience:

Knowledge in using CAD software to make changes during busy periods or a willingness to learn and be upskilled in this area. Dante, CTS, or similar technical certifications. Experience working with the Microsoft suite of apps including Visio, Excel, and Word.
