This is a remarkable opportunity within the marketplace, with a very competitive benefits scheme and a fully collaborative and supportive working culture. 25 days holiday Life Assurance Discounts on memberships / products Group FP&A Manager - About The Role This position will involve collaboration with the Executive and Leadership team, and as such, candidates should possess experience in a business partnering role, particularly in overseeing the commercial Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function for a business. As this is a newly established position of Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for developing a robust financial planning and reporting framework. It is essential that you have previously managed similar projects, including experience with consolidation-level reporting. Additionally, familiarity with company system implementation, particularly in consolidation tools, is required. This role offers a distinctive opportunity in the market, where you will have the chance to establish the FP&A function for an international group of companies. The role combines responsibilities in reporting, business partnering, and project management through to implementation. You will play a pivotal role within the finance reporting team and collaborate with the broader business to ensure a comprehensive approach to commercial reporting, including trend analysis and financial performance evaluation for the organisation. Furthermore, you will lead and execute a software implementation project to enhance business modelling and reporting capabilities. As this position operates at the Group level, strong experience in consolidation reporting is crucial. Responsibilities: Setting up the FP&A function and taking a lead role within a software implementation. Produce management information on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles, providing in-depth analysis. Develop insightful commercial analysis to ensure collaborative and cohesive business decisions are made. Lead and develop the consolidated budgeting and forecasting processes, setting out both Opex & Capex requirements. Act as a Business Partner, being the primary source of financial insight for decision making, to ensure metrics are understood and followed up on to drive profitability. Working with the wider finance team to produce short, medium and long-term cashflow forecasting for operational cashflow requirements and to support long-term strategic planning. The successful Group FP&A Manager will have: A full accounting qualification - ICAEW / ACCA / CA Experience of working within a multi-currency consolidation experience, ideally within manufacturing Experience of modelling reporting Strong commercial and business acumen Experience of working within a commercial reporting capacity Experience within an ERP software implementation Experience of reporting on treasury Experience of working with M&A activity Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
