We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Support Worker to join our friendly team in Sittingbourne, working 37 hours a week. This role involves both face-to-face and virtual support, where you will work directly with clients, as well as from our office in Sittingbourne. Do you want to make a difference every day? What you’ll do: Provide practical and emotional support to women experiencing domestic abuse. Empower women to understand their rights and explore options to safely live free from abuse. Collaborate with external agencies to deliver holistic care and advocate for women. What we’re looking for: A woman with a strong commitment to ending gender-based violence. Excellent communication skills to listen and empathise effectively. Experience in safety and support planning, and working with vulnerable individuals in health, social care, or community settings. Requirements: A driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role. An enhanced DBS check will be carried out by SATEDA.
