We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to join our Industry Marketing team to support the management and growth of the Industry Applications portfolio, driving success through collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams, aligned with marketing strategies. What will be your responsibilities at bioMérieux? Manage product lifecycle from go-to-market (GTM) strategy to end-of-life, including launches, promotions, and customer support. Forecasting and liaising with all cross-functional departments. Develop pricing structures for new & existing products in line with market conditions, competitor activities and margin objectives. Collaborate with strategic and digital marketing functions in the design and implementation of marketing communications and events. Develop and monitor budgets for product marketing activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, providing insights for product strategy adjustments, and competitive analysis. Coordinate and support the marketing department in organising and executing internal & external meetings, events, and trainings (e.g., Kick-Off, Summer Sales Meetings, Strategy meetings), ensuring smooth logistics (Brochure goodies ordering and stock maintenance: send out conference material & return), timely communication, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Support sales efforts through the marketing strategy alignment and direct engagement with key stakeholders in the achievement of the Industry sales budget for UK & IE and manage report generation from CRM. Run market research projects for strategic and emerging market segments. Manage the preparation of sales evaluations with the support of application specialist and sales team. Engage with customers directly (joint customer visits with sales team, conference attendance, bioMérieux events, laboratory visits) to gather insights and feedback, ensuring the product continuously meets market demands. Who are you? You will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant science field (Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science) with knowledge and understanding of Industrial Microbiology. Experience in product management, sales, or marketing within B2B environments is advantageous. It is essential to have knowledge of MS Office and CRM proficiency would be beneficial. An understanding of lab workflows and the Industry markets is also desirable.
