Infrastructure Contracts Manager Full time, permanent post

Our flagship development, One Horton Heath, is well underway delivering 2,500 homes, a primary school, commercial buildings, and a new local centre. One Horton Heath is a major mixed-use extension of the existing village that aims to place the core values of the Council at its heart.

Other projects in this innovative programme include the potential sale of offset credits for Nitrate, Phosphate, SANG & BNG, joint ventures and monitoring with development partners to bring forward housing delivery across the Borough and more.

The role This post will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of large civil engineering infrastructure and green infrastructure work within the OHH council construction project. The role will work alongside colleagues in the technical, commercial and communications teams, ensuring procurement and design processes are aligned and managing consultant outputs. They will ensure that Infrastructure Contracts are suitable for the project's needs and manage communications with relevant external partners.

The post will be responsible for all infrastructure related health and safety and CDM matters, managing all on-site infrastructure activities and have overall responsibility for onsite programming and project delivery.

About you We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of delivering numerous large multi-million-pound infrastructure projects which must include Highway, Structures, Residential, Commercial, public realm, and large green open spaces works.

A strong knowledge of the NEC4 contract of all options is essential along with good IT skills including the suite of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

You will have relevant proven experience of development and contracting in a similar role and/or working on projects of similar scale. An excellent understanding of contracts, project management, programming and site management is required, having strong commercial knowledge is also essential.

To be successful, you will be able to build interpersonal relationships easily, and have great communication skills.
