Overview As Calibration Repair Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for repairs, calibration, and adjustment of a wide range of test and measurement equipment across various electrical and physical parameters. You will become an integral member of the team and make a significant contribution to the business in achieving its ambitious growth plans. Responsibilities and Accountabilities You will be responsible for: Repairing units to component level Providing detailed calibration certificates Sourcing equipment specifications when necessary Improving test techniques and increasing parameters Maintaining high quality levels throughout Providing the administration team with timely data Safeguarding the integrity of test equipment and company standards Maintaining turnaround times to a minimum level Keeping a tidy and well-ordered environment Measurement of Effectiveness Repairing and calibrating a wide range of multi-parameter test equipment from various industry sectors Entering data correctly and updating the job progression system Ensuring customers’ requirements are met Providing certificate details upon calibration completion Accurately recording personal activity against KPIs Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications HNC in electrical/electronic minimum or a similar discipline Demonstrable qualification through experience Experience within the Instrumentation Industry or previous repair experience in an electrical/electronic role Ability to repair to component level Ability to read circuit diagrams Good soldering ability Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Sound mathematical knowledge Meticulous attention to detail Knowledge of quality standards/systems Good interpersonal skills Can-do attitude Willingness to listen, learn, and improve Team player Adaptability and flexibility to learn new tasks as required by the business Effective time management and prioritization skills Benefits: Company performance bonus paid quarterly 5 weeks holiday per annum (increasing with service) Birthday leave – 1 day off to celebrate Enhanced maternity, adoption, and paternity pay Company health cash plan Company pension scheme Death in service benefit Free parking Free tea, coffee, juice, toast, fruit, biscuits, and jacket potatoes Long service awards Cycle to work scheme Christmas savings scheme Team events Friendly, clean, modern working environment Supportive teams Training and development opportunities Job Types:
