Section Engineer - Highways & Civil Infrastructure - St Neots

Looking for a challenge that combines your skills and experience in Highways, Drainage, Earthworks, and Groundworks?

Randstad is searching for a skilled and motivated Section Engineer to join our team in the St Neots area. You'll play a key role in delivering crucial infrastructure projects, contributing to the development and enhancement of the local area.

What you'll be doing:

Leading the way:

Oversee the construction of sections of complex projects involving highways, drainage, earthworks, and groundworks. Delivering Quality:

Ensure work is executed to the highest standards, meeting project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations. Problem Solving:

Identify potential issues, implement solutions, and ensure project milestones are met. Teamwork & Communication:

Coordinate with subcontractors, manage site teams, and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed site records and produce comprehensive progress reports.

What you'll bring:

Experience:

Proven experience as a Section Engineer in Highways and Civil Infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on drainage, earthworks, and/or groundworks. Knowledge:

A solid understanding of relevant design and construction standards, including highways, drainage, earthworks, and groundworks best practices. Communication:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Problem-Solving:

A keen eye for detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. CSCS Card:

A valid CSCS card is essential.
