3 Shift Pattern The Company My Client, a market leading specialist manufacturer to a wide variety of medical markets, is looking to expand its maintenance team at its Bolton manufacturing plant. The company is an extremely well-established business, with over 50 years’ experience within their chosen field of specialism and has manufacturing capabilities to supply a global economy. Key Skills Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery Understanding of PPM & TPM Systems in Fast Paced Manufacturing The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The jobholder will work on a rotating 3 shift system and be responsible for strong and clear communication links between shifts and relevant departments. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time-served engineer with an electrical bias (but multi-skilled), and have process machinery experience. If you have worked on PLC controlled machinery, it would be advantageous. Additionally, the candidate should be able and willing to clean filter pumps and perform general mechanical work on pumps, conveyors, filters, and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
