Full Time - 32 or 39 hours per week - Quality Health & Safety Manager, based in Newport, Shropshire, 39 hours per week, competitive pay based on skills/experience. About Us Hollinbrow Precision Products (UK) Ltd specialises in the supply of thin metals and precision components, machined to customers' exact requirements. As the Hollinbrow Quality Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the management of Quality Systems to meet AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications. You will coordinate and oversee all Quality and Health & Safety related activities required to ensure our process and products meet these standards, with quality being integrated into the company’s culture. Responsibilities of the role Review, advise and update company's quality procedures, standards and specifications in line with AS and ISO requirements, and any other specific customer requirements. Act as a role model and set standards for quality, monitoring and working closely with production and office teams to ensure that these standards are achieved. Analyse data and trends to identify areas for improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Manage ISO/AS internal and external auditing programs to ensure successful ongoing certification. Work with colleagues to monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality requirements. Measure quality performance, by gathering relevant efficiency and effectiveness data, and produce reports. Identify any areas of weakness and/or improvements, recommending and implementing these as required in conjunction with operating staff. Liaise with MD and staff and train them in quality tools and techniques to ensure they are competent to adhere to processes, procedures and achieve quality standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality management. About You Proven experience in a quality management role and in the management of ISO standards, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering environment. Demonstrable skills and experience of internal and external auditing. Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools. Knowledge of PPAPS & FAIRs (Production Parts Approval Process Systems & First Article Inspection Reports). Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Good understanding of IT based systems and ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Some experience in Health & Safety, risk assessments, COSHH etc. HNC or equivalent qualification /experience in a relevant field, such as engineering or quality management. Experience of working within precision manufacturing/metals environment. Knowledge and proven experience of AS standards (international standards for Aerospace Quality Management Systems). Hours and Benefits 32 / 39 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm and/or Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm. Competitive pay to be discussed dependent on skills and experience. Free on-site parking.
