Brightsparks, an industry-leading digital marketing agency specialising in behaviour change for social good, is seeking an experienced Lead Digital Media Specialist. This role is critical to the strategic design, execution, and management of digital PPC, paid media, and organic marketing campaigns across the agency. This role is perfect for a Digital Media Specialist with experience operating in an agency environment and successfully delivering a range of digital marketing projects. The role will be a permanent contract at 35 hours per week. The role will work on a hybrid basis with dedicated time required each week in our York city centre office as well as opportunities for remote working. Brightsparks works extensively in the areas of marketing, campaigns, creative, and consultancy projects with organisations like NHS trusts, local authorities, and national and international charities and NGOs. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the strategy, execution, implementation, and ongoing management of planned digital PPC, paid social, paid media, and organic digital marketing campaigns across the agency. Lead the development, execution, and evaluation of digital media buying, working within pre-agreed budgets to maximise ROI for the agency and its clients. Provide leadership, management, and accountability to digital marketing staff and contractors. Work within, and develop, systems and processes to ensure optimal media buying performance. Be client-facing for client onboarding and discovery sessions to obtain requirements and present recommendations on media buying approaches. Analyse and manage existing ad campaigns to achieve and exceed performance KPIs where possible. Provide thought leadership on BSA’s approach to digital marketing and media ad buying, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of current best practice, opportunities, and threats, recommending and leading on changes to organisational strategy and process. Ensure 80% of accounts/projects are on track or successfully achieved against the company scorecard. Required Experience: Relevant digital media ad platform qualifications and training. 3 years experience leading and managing pay-per-click digital marketing, including designing strategies and budget management. 2 years experience of managing staff and freelancers. 5 years experience successfully delivering digital marketing projects in agency settings. 5 years experience developing campaigns across a standard range of PPC and paid media platforms. (Desirable) Experience of leading and managing digital marketing campaigns for public sector and/or charity organisations. Salary Range:

£40,000-£45,000 per year Seniority level
