Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? This client has a great opportunity to work as their lead Quantity Surveyor, working on interesting and exciting projects throughout the UK as well as Europe.
This company is a Bristol-based contractor that specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of interesting and exciting commercial projects. They have been operating for over 20 years and are experiencing high levels of growth and success. As a result, they have established themselves at the forefront of their market and are now looking to drive forward their growth plans by bringing a confident Quantity Surveyor on board.
In this office-based role, you will take a lead position in managing the commercial and financial aspects of all projects. You will work closely with the sales and design teams to ensure a smooth process. It will be a requirement of your role to travel to the site as needed.
The Role:
Quantity Surveyor based in Bristol, travel throughout the UK is required Prepare, negotiate and manage project budgets Work closely with the sales and design teams Work on multiple projects at one time Lead and oversee the commercial aspects of projects, bringing expertise to the team
The Person: Proven experience in Quantity Surveying or a related role Comprehensive understanding of JCT and NEC contracts Good understanding of the construction industry Strong analytical and numerical skills Can-do attitude, with great communication skills Full UK Driving License
